Amman, Dec. 21 (Petra) – Chief Commissioner and CEO of Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Capt. Daifallah Alfarajat, discussed with Chargé d’Affaires of the Libyan Embassy in Amman, Musa Dagali, prospects for joint cooperation in air transport and ways to enhance its development to serve common interests.
During a meeting held Sunday at the CARC's headquarters, the two sides reviewed the "strong" brotherly relations between Jordan and Libya in the civil aviation sector.
The duo also called for maintaining joint coordination to overcome obstacles and develop frameworks for technical and operational cooperation in line with international aviation safety and security standards.
Talking at the meeting, Alfarajat said CARC is mobilizing all its capabilities to support the expansion of the national carrier, Royal Jordanian (RJ), in regional markets, particularly Libya, which is witnessing "growing" demand.
